Reflexology
’’There is no place more relaxing in my life than a visit to Caz and her beautiful haven.
I have never been relaxed enough during a treatment to fall asleep but I pretty much always do with Caz!
Caz’s foot reflexology is the most rebalancing, relaxing and therapeutic treatment I have ever had."
Foot Reflexology
This is a fabulous treatment where the feet are the main focus. One way to explain this practice is that your body is represented in reflex points on your feet and by working the feet with a combination of thumb walking, knuckling, stretching and massage, all of your body systems will be touched in some way. My treatments are also very energetic, by which I mean I like to feel the energy flowing through the feet and you may feel me pausing at various points to hold (link) certain points together. You may feel this by way of tingling or warmth through the body during the treatment (if you are awake!).
Foot Reflexology aims to bring the body and mind back in to balance, as it is so easy for the body to become ‘out of sorts’ and for you to feel a little ‘ungrounded’ through stress, diet, the environment and life in general. It creates a natural energy which aims to boost the immune system and stimulates the bodies own healing process. It is not a cure for medical conditions and not in my remit to diagnose you with anything as i am not medically trained. Unfortunately, some people see it as a way of being told what is wrong with them, but that (to me anyway) is not Reflexology. I may sense areas that feel 'crunchy' (technical term!) or puffy or lacking in energy, but your own body will facilitate the healing that it needs. I am just there to get things kickstarted!
I will answer any questions you have before the treatment starts, so you have complete understanding of what I am doing.
All new treatments begin with a thorough consultation, talking through any medical conditions, stress and energy levels, sleep patterns and how you are feeling in general, to give me a full understanding of you and your needs and what you would like Reflexology to do for you at that particular time. You will then lay on the massage couch with pillows and blankets and you can lay back and completely relax.
The treatment initially starts by working with your Lymphatic system to give this a boost. It doesn't have its own pump (like the heart) and relies on movement from ourselves to prevent it stagnating and I am sure most of us either have felt or feel a bit sluggish from time to time. The Lymphatic system essentially clears out waste from our system, cleans the blood and gives our immune systems a much needed kick. The ultimate aim as with all of my treatments is to bring you in to your parasympathetic nervous system, to bring your body down to a point where it will more easily receive whatever the treatment needs to bring it. This is why I always encourage you to lay back and close your eyes and most of the time you will fall asleep or gently doze.
It is a perfect, non invasive, balancing gem of a treatment and it amazes me every time!
Reflexology supporting Fertility & Reproductive Health
Reflexology can be a wonderful treatment to try if you are struggling to conceive naturally but also alongside IVF/Assisted Conception. I have many ways of working that I can use to aid you and your partner in these areas.
I also work with women who are having challenges with their reproductive health such as heavy, missing or irregular periods and also with the symptoms of PCOS and Endometriosis.
I have undergone further specialist training in Reproductive Reflexology with Seren Natural Fertility.
Reflexology supporting Pregnancy
Reflexology in pregnancy is a fabulous treatment, giving you some time away in a peaceful, soothing environment, to relax and focus on yourself and your growing baby. It aims to optimise your physical and emotional health by working on specific reflex points on the feet that aim to give relief from symptoms such as insomnia, nausea, indigestion, pelvic girdle pain, lower back pain and constipation. It is a wonderful treatment for stress and anxiety which can be very common during this time. It can also help to prepare the body for labour. A gorgeous treatment to receive throughout your pregnancy and special packages can also be arranged to see you through to your post natal time.
Hand Reflexology
Having someone massage and stimulate your hands and wrists can be incredibly relaxing and very helpful for those of us whose hands and wrists can become very stiff and achy. This treatment builds on the principles of Reflexology by stimulating the reflexes that can be found on the hands, just as they are on the feet and incorporating a gorgeous little hand massage and fabulous wellbeing experience at the same time. I offer this treatment as an add on with the feet or face or all 3!!
“I have had many complementary therapies over the years and I can say with my hand on my heart this is is one of the best reflexology treatments I have ever had. I can assure you I do not say that lightly, I fell asleep as so relaxed and have been feeling the positives of my treatments since. A truly beautiful sanctuary of peace and tranquility has been created by Caz and don’t think ‘shall I’..do it, book a treatment now you most definitely won’t regret it x”

“Caz provides a wonderfully relaxing service. The treatments were first class in sumptuous surroundings.
I had an Indian head massage followed by reflexology on my feet and left feeling relaxed and totally refreshed.
Her sanctuary makes you feel a million miles away from everyday life and creates a beautifully calming aura.
Recommended and looking forward to my next visit.”

Pure Bliss!
Feet & Facial Reflexology
Love having your foot reflexology but also fancy some facial reflexology too? Now you can have a treatment combining the two.
In this wonderfully relaxing treatment, I start with a 30-minute facial reflexology treatment, and then while you lay gently dozing, I move down to your feet for an extra 30 or even more mind-blowing 60 minutes working this area. Totally Blissful.....
Facial Reflexology with Arm, Neck & Shoulder Massage
I start this treatment simply holding the head to begin the 'letting go' of any tension and then move on to an arm, neck and shoulder massage to deeply relax and begin to open up the energetic pathways ensuring that by the time I reach your face, you will be drifting peacefully away..
You can also add 30 minutes of foot reflexology to this treatment for 90 minutes of absolute bliss...
Facial Reflexology
Facial Reflexology is something many people have never heard of, but that I am incredibly passionate about and use on myself regularly. Most people associate Reflexology with the feet, but working the face is an amazing practice for the body and mind. What is happening in the body can show up on the face in the corresponding zones and reflex points.
Facial Reflexology works in a similar way to foot reflexology, although working within such close proximity to the brain, the results can occur a lot quicker. Its aim is to restore a good flow of energy simply by working on zones of the face with a metal wand-like tool, in a very slow, relaxing and meditative way. I always describe it as feeling like your face is being coloured in as I work to pinpoint any tender, bumpy or stuck areas that could indicate an energy block and work to disperse these. Its aim is to free up the energetic pathways and re-energise you physically, emotionally and mentally. I am essentially looking to balance your nervous system by taking you to a deep state of relaxation. A relaxing and calming touch can do wonders for us and give us a great chance of drifting in to our rest & digest system. Unfortunately many of us live in our stress response mode, which if activated for long periods of time can cause us disease and also prematurely age our skin.
When our nervous systems are balanced, our bodies can start to heal themselves and this treatment can aid in so many different ways on the physical and emotional levels. It works with all of the bodies systems and just a few of the many different things it can help include insomnia, hayfever, headaches/migraines, fertility issues both male & female, muscular pain (back, neck, shoulder, etc), anxiety, women's reproductive health and digestive issues.
When you come in at the start of each treatment we will sit down and have a chat and find out how you are feeling in both body and mind and how those feelings are presenting themselves in your body. We then agree on what the priority is to work on for that day and I invite you to lay down on the massage couch and drift off into another world for 30 minutes. if combined with Foot Reflexology, or a slower 60 minutes as I carry out this wonderful treatment.
You can also carry on working specific areas of the face yourself at home, simply by using your hands although you can use the rounded end of a pen or something along those lines. This is a great way of assisting in your own self care and wellbeing.
Unlike foot reflexology where you really need the therapist to be present as contorting yourself to press points on your feet is never a great option, working on your face can be done very easily, fairly anonymously, at a time that suits you and doesn't require much effort.
“What a beautiful venue, I think perhaps the loveliest healing space I have been in. And what a wonderful reflexology treatment I received. Caz is simply the most caring therapist, attentive to every detail and I hadn’t realised just how in need of her care I was. I’m afraid I did doze off but awoke feeling relief from what had been overwhelming pain. Bless you Caz, I will most definitely be back.”
