Jay is a fully qualified level 4 Sports & Body Massage therapist. This is an advanced level of massage where he can help people to relax and de-stress as well as being able to work with those who are experiencing soft tissue injuries and issues with flexibility and mobility amongst other things. He is passionate about providing a space for all to come and have some time out and to relax from the stresses of everyday life.

Here at Holistically Ginger, we like to think that it is the extra attention we pay to the small details that helps to make our treatments feel that little bit special. Not only do we use 100% natural Vegan waxes whenever possible, we can also offer you a wide choice that contain essential oils to add an extra level to your experience. Also, all the waxes have moisturising properties and can be left on to soak into your skin.
LAVENDER: To give you the calming and soothing effects which lavender brings.
ZEST (lime and mandarin): Which gives a gentle, refreshing and uplifting effect.
ORANGE SPICE (orange, nutmeg and clove): Creating a soothing and warming feel (not vegan).
BALANCE (frankincense, bergamot, lavender and geranium): Which brings a combination of musk, citrus and herbs to give you balance.
SPORTS (lemon, manuka, calendula, St John’s wort): A lemony/leathery scent which is not quite herbal or floral, but very relaxing.
Don’t worry, we also keep a stock of vegan UNSCENTED wax too, just in case the choice we offer isn’t to your taste!

Remedial / Soft Tissue Repair - 60 minutes
This type of massage is specifically for those who find themselves suffering with damage to muscles due to injury or accident. The aim is to slowly improve the range of movement in an area, to help repair the damaged soft tissue and to reduce or relieve any pain and stress that may be injury may be causing.
We would recommend this massage to anyone who is feeling muscle pain, experiencing limited movement in an area, and for those that require help during their rehabilitation from injury or illness.
